AL GORE IS FULL OF #*IT
I am cold.
Today's temperature in Edmonton -- a biting -40.
As the Stars marketing billboard has taught us; Water freezes at 32 degrees. So that would make the water here really, really frozen. And since we homo-sapiens are comprised of 75% water, that would make me a human-popsicle. (Passion fruit flavor, of course)
Anyway, as a result of this frigid reminder of why I'm fortunate to live in Dallas Texas, an old Northern Canadian folk-song came flooding back into my barely thawed consciousness.
It's called, "The Rodeo Song" and its peppered with..."colorful" language (So be forewarned).
It's also infectiously sing-songy and a slice of Alberta in winter on a day like today.
And it goes something like this:
Well its 40 below and I don't give a @#ck got a heater in my truck and I'm off to the rodeo.
And its allemande left and allemande right
Come on ya @#ckin' dummy get your right step right
Get off the stage ya god *#mn goof, ya know.
Piss me off,
@#ckin' jerk,
Ya get on my nerves.
Well here comes Johnny with his *#&@er in his hand he's a one-ball man and he's off to the rodeo.
And its allemande left and allemande right
Com on ya @#ckin dummy get your right step right
Get off the stage ya god *#mn goof ya know.
Piss me off,
@#ckin' jerk,
Ya get on my nerves.
Well its 40 below and I don't have a truck but I don't give a @#ck cause I'm off to the rodeo
And its allemande left and allemande right
Come on ya @#ckin' dummy get your right step right
Get off the stage ya god *#mn goof, ya know.
Piss me off,
@#ckin' jerk,
Ya get on my nerves.
(Repeat)
