CAN'T SPELL DISCIPLINE WITHOUT "D"
Here's a little factoid from the "who'd have thought that" entering the series file; Through two games the Ducks "Greatest defense corp ever assembled" has been the undisciplined, bewildered looking, inferior crew -- not the Stars group of six, featuring two rookies and no Sergei Zubov.
Duck defensemen have taken six minors that have put Dallas on the powerplay. (And its been costly)
Stars d-men, despite the head hunter pounding Anaheim forwards have tried to deliver, have taken just one. (Boucher for tripping)
There's some poise for you!
Of course Stars rearguards benefit from the fact three of them are on the ice at all times. (Turco being the third)
Those poor Duck d-men have Giggy, who's puck handling "help" for his boys is akin to shoving them off the curb into oncoming traffic.
Advantage Big "D".
