ASK BEFORE YOU ROCK THE VOTE

So I hear that a couple of musical acts are p.o.ed that the Republicans used their songs at the convention without consent.

I guess Heart isn't feeling the same love for Sarah Palin as they do for the royalty checks that keep rolling in from Guitar Hero for the song "Barracuda". And Van Halen is having a conniption fit over McCain taking the stage to "Right Now". (The soft, future soccer mom loving edition of VH with that waste of skin Haggar at the mic not the hard driving, muscle car, full mane David Lee version)

Do ya think them bands is Liberals? Do ya, ya music picking dunces for the GOP?

How about a little homework?

Anyway, I really could give a crap but it did get me to wanting to point out that Queen's "We Are The Champions" has been blasted over the P.A. systems of just about every sporting venue that hosted a championship game from middle school to pro for decades now and there hasn't been one peep from Queen's people.

So, should the Republicans win in November and want to play "We Are The Champions" after, even if its just on a "boom box" in a parking lot be forewarned, I'm pretty sure the late Freddie Mercury was a liberal leaning individual.
