CHEATIN' AND HURTIN'

I wish I had that perfect country (or western) song to lay down as a music bed for this one. Some twang-thing involving some young lovely who’s had some hard-livin’, seen-some-stuff writer pen the lyrics for her would be perfect, cause right now baseball is full of cheaters –and hockey is just plain hurtin’.

It isn’t just the Stars either.

Yes they are further hobbled by the loss of Brad Richards (broken wrist). He joins Morrow and Zubov as highly compensated spectator/cheerleaders - but they have company around the NHL.

Mark my words Razorites, the teams that don’t make the playoffs will be the ones humming these hurtin’ tunes; Willie’s “Whiskey River”, “Walkin the Floor Over You” by Ernest Tubb, “Before the Next Teardrop Falls” from Freddy Fender, Leann Rimes “Blue”, “I’m Tryin” by Trace Adkins, Toby Keith’s “Get Drunk and Be Somebody”, “Hurt” and “I Still Miss Someone” by Johnny Cash, and of course John Conlee’s “Rose Colored Glasses” .
