VALOR

Definition; Strength of mind or spirit that enables a person to encounter danger with firmness: Personal bravery

Example; Monday night’s 1-0 loss by the severely depleted Dallas Stars (Sans: Richards, Modano, Morrow, Zubov, and then in-game, Toby Petersen) to the NHL best 41-8-9 San Jose Sharks.

They outplayed, outhustled, outmaneuvered, outhit, outshot and outchanced them – but couldn’t outscore those mighty Tiburons.

Respect points for Tippett and his 18 men? Plenty.

Points earned in the chaotic Western Conference playoff race? Zero.

A shame.
