ROIDS WELCOME

Mark Cuban’s comments about being ok with NBA players using steroids, but only for medicinal purposes and under close medical supervision, made 24-hour sports news cycles yesterday.

Full disclosure; I am currently on steroids to treat a pinched nerve in my upper back/neck and therefore can completely concur with Cuban’s opinion. Thanks to the pills my back issue is improved yet not quite fully healed.

As for the supposed, and feared, bump in performance steroids are said to produce I’m probably not a good gauge. Talking pretty about athletes isn’t something "the clear" and "the cream" can impact.

However, that being said, since starting the steroid treatment I’m hitting .635 with 57 homers on MLB 09’ for Wii, and the circumference of my head has increased by almost an inch. What’s up with that Cubes?!…True, that swelling might have more to do with my recent Emmy win than the ‘roids but who really knows, I’m just saying…Now excuse me, I have to go bench-press a truck and fly off the handle at someone for no reason.
