NEW YORK

Empire State Building

So lets see, what did our Stars get from their trip to New York city?

  • two luxurious plane rides
  • four trips through the Holland Tunnel, two of them dead silent
  • a tour of the Empire State Building – photo op at the top included.
  • slight sub zero facial wind burn
  • a firsthand account of Martin Brodeur’s 584th victory and 106th career shutout – both new NHL records
  • a front row seat to witness exiled former teammate Sean Avery’s first career 4-point game.
  • for Mike Ribeiro, a scary stick to the windpipe injury, a frightening tracheotomy, and an extended stay in New York.
  • zero points in the standings

In retrospect, that “I Love NY” stuff is fraudulent!

What did I get?

I got these pictures of Rockefeller Center and a Vandelay Industries t-shirt, so, I guess I have to put the junket down as a personal success.
