THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR JELLO

Today the series comes to a close. I saved this one for last to honor the 1999 Stanley Cup Playoff MVP, HHofF headed, current GM of your Dallas Stars, Joe Nieuwendyk.

I saw a lot of things in the top of that Cup during my time with the Oilers in the 80s and again with that Stars club in '99 - about 90% of it in distilled liquid form - but honestly this was a first foray into jello molds.

Joe's a great host, and the wood mallet taps were a nice touch.

Thanks again ESPN for furnishing me with the footage. Real fun look back at that creative series of 2000 Stanley Cup Playoff promos - my pleasure to share. It'd be nice to make new ones.
